Technical learning tracks
Infrastructure and DevOps
There are Cloud Infrastructure tracks for both Azure and AWS, where you will learn how to create a robust cloud infrastructure, including networking, security, governance, policies, storage, databases, compute and other fundamental building blocks.
The training will cover Infrastructure as Code (IAC) deployment methods using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep and DevOps best practices.
You will explore how to build modern cloud-native applications using containerisation and/ or native PaaS services, as well as best practices for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and GitHub.
The track forks into both DevOps and SecOps, providing you with further specialism and skill.
Data Engineering
Through the Cloud Data track, you will learn how to connect, extract, load and transform disparate datasets into an enterprise data warehousing and analytics solution.
Our Data Engineers undergo training to become proficient in cloud ecosystems, with emphasis on the latest technologies and programming software, such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI.
The Cloud Data track includes data services for both Azure and AWS.
Security
The Cloud Security track will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to secure cloud environments on Microsoft Azure.
The training covers key security topics such as identity and access management, network security, threat protection, data security, and compliance.
Learn how to use Microsoft's suite of security tools and services to design, deploy and manage secure cloud solutions on Azure and protect against threats.
Data Science
In the Data Science track, you will use cloud services with machine learning and statistical models to extract insights and trends from structured and unstructured datasets.
Learn how to develop models for predictive analytics, classification, and sentiment analysis, with automation and AI to solve real-world business problems.
Business Applications
The Business Applications track is centred around Microsoft's Power Platform; you will learn:
- Power Apps: learn to create custom apps or customise existing business applications;
- Power Automate: automate processes using robotic process automation (RPA) and digital process automation (DPA); and
- Power Virtual Agents: build powerful bots using automation and AI that integrate with various data sources.

Qualyfi Elite Skills and Traits (QuEST) is our framework to find, assess and select the very best new cloud consultants.
QuEST is used throughout the candidate/ consultant journey from selection to graduation.
The skills and traits are organised into four QuEST "families": Character; Team Player; Growth Mindset; and Communicator. Each family comprises five skills or traits.

- Technical Mentoring: our senior practitioners continually provide technical guidance and support
- Professional Coaching: Qualyfiers receive ongoing coaching to develop further through their professional development plans
- Pastoral Care: we provide a home manager for each Qualyfier
Our Model and Agreement
How it works
Joining Qualyfi and completing the Programme requires dedication. We do ask for your commitment to the course and your intent to complete the placement as agreed. If you join Qualyfi you will sign a two-year contract to that effect.
After you accept an offer you will be scheduled to join an Accelerator for eight weeks. We pay you an allowance (equivalent to £23,800 pro rata) during those two months and until you land on a placement. When you transfer to a placement your salary then rises to £30,000.
Throughout the two year placement we continually monitor your progress and include a further 24 days of dedicated training during that time. We also run regular virtual and in-person events. Your salary will increase over the placement, in-line with your progress, up to a maximum of £45,000 in the second year.
After the two years is completed you are free to negotiate a new role with your placement company, or find the next exciting challenge. We hope you will remain an active participant in the Qualyfi Alumni and join us once a year for Qualyfest, our annual celebration of all things Qualyfi.
