We can help all technical delivery teams optimise their patterns and increase profitability, reduce risk and improve employee engagement.
We have IP, patterns and frameworks around a variety of common functions, that can help you accelerate the optimisation journey. Our team has extensive experience in technical delivery, from sales through to projects and back-office support. If there is one area you are struggling to make progress then we can likely help.
We consult with you to understand what your needs are, before compiling a syllabus of technical and professional skills, often supported by ongoing mentorship. An example would be a recent "New Manager" programme that we created for a FinTech. This includes some technical baseline, a series of leadership modules and a 12-month mentoring scheme.
Our approach to offer a customised path that includes technical and non-technical skills. The outcome is designed with only one goal -- to make your teams more efficient at what they do. There is no point in putting teams of people through certiifications alone. This will rarely have an impact on their productivity. We work with trainers who have delivered projects in the real world, can offer guidance in that context and can help people do their job better.
For our technical certification pathways, we find that our cohort-based approach can be significantly cheaper than standard online certification training from other suppliers (typically per person.)

No.
The only similarity is that you will take onboard some people early in their career but our Qualyfiers will operate at a much higher level than typical apprentices. We guarantee that they will active and valuable on projects from Day One.
The apprenticeship scheme is open to anyone aged 16-18. There is typically no selection barrier as these schemes are funded by the government. In our experience if takes years for an apprentice to get to the same level of useful experience as one of our Qualyfiers.
We believe that Apprenticeships are an important part of a blended approach to talent development but they are not the only way.
It often takes between 6-12 months for Graduates to develop into valuable team members, who can deliver on real-world projects.
There is a also a significant rate of attrition in programmes, which can be caused, in part, by lack of opportunity and development in busy organisations.
Our approach is to remove the Graduate requirement entirely and focus on people who can be amazing from Day One. We set them up with specific skills and frameworks that you use, so they can offer immediate value. If they don't deliver then you can replace them or cancel the contract.
Have a look at this short video to contrast DIY or Qualyfi.
We offer free replacements of Qualyfiers in the first 6 months, if they don't work for you, for any reason. You can also cancel the contract within the first 3 months for any reason.
Our NPS scores are consistent +70 and above for our Qualyfiers.
We work with the main hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and numerous supporting ISV solutions (such as Databricks, Snowflake) and SaaS tooling (ERP, CRM).
Our main Qualyfier tracks that form the basis of our programme are:
Please click on this link to look at our Day One skills matrix. We can adapt or augment the Accelerator to include other technologies that are specific to your requirements.
SFIA (Skills for the Information Age) is the mechanism we use to assess and manage our Qualyfiers.
We see them typically finish the Accelerator at level 1-2 and the reach level 3-4 after 24 months.
The speed of personal development is one of the most striking characteristics of our selection and training.
Yes, this is a key component of the development plan. Full details are available on this link.
Qualyfi does not track metrics in this way. We make the programme open to anyone, from any background, education or work experience.
We assess their ability to be excellent technical consultants over any diversity metrics. We believe that it is prejudicial (and, in some cases, illegal) to discriminate for some diversity markers in our hiring process.
This post explains more about our philosophy and process.
Yes. We can offer the Qualyfi programme through intense or spaced courses, customised to suit your needs.
We typically begin such engagements with an assessment of the early-career teams and report back with our recommendations.
No.
Recruiters typically find people in the market with established skills and match them to appropriate roles.
Qualyfi takes a different approach. We search for people with potential and train them up specifically for your requirements. We have built IP to allow us to find, test, select and train people with high potential. This IP is based upon decades of real-world delivery experience.
These two approaches can exist in parallel. Qualyfi has no desire to enter the market of recruiting experienced candidates. n answer to this item.
We hire and train the Qualyfiers at our own cost, before they then land with you.
You pay from Day One of the placement for period of 24 months on a T&M basis with a day rate.
The day rate includes all of the selection, training (Accelerator + 24 days across the placement) plus continual technical and pastoral mentoring.
After 24 months you have the option to employ them. There is no transfer fee to take them onto your books.
In the first 3 months of the contract you can cancel for any reason.
After 3 months you have a 12-week notice period.
Qualyfiers start at £350 per day for normal commercial roles. We charge more for our SC_Ready programme and in the second year of the contract.
Qualyfiers are engaged as a contractor resource, so you do not have to pay any holiday, NI/Pension or other related employee costs, which can be significant. We also include extensive training worth at least £10,000 per individual (based upon certification costs at typical suppliers).
For comparative purposes, the likely equivalent role would have an advertised salary rate would be around £40-45k per annum, when you take into account all the costs for a permanent employee.
We have an ROI calculator that allows you to plug in your assumptions and create a comparative salary estimate.
We've have put our Qualyfiers into blind interview processes and they are assessed as around 2 years' experience and highly knowledgeable. We can provide references.
You are responsible for all of the outcomes generated by the Qualyfiers in your team.
The Qualyfiers are under your control and direction while working on projects. We do not have access to your internal or customer environments, and no way to implement any controls or governance.
Further, it is not appropriate for us to get involved in those day-to-day delivery activities or concerns, given the sensitivity of customer data and your related obligations.
We warrant that the Qualyfiers have the right to work, their tax and other obligations are paid and that they have passed our Accelerator and continue to study the curriculum.
We can create cohorts of consultants who are SC ready by the time they start with you, on any major technical platform. We agree a start date and the syllabus requirements. We hire the candidates (always BPSS cleared on start) and then being the SC process over the first 8 weeks while they are with us. We partner with a specialist agency to help drive through the clearane process.
On Day 1 they will be cleared and ready, but if they are not then you don't pay a penny until their clearance is activated.
